Brian Cox used to be the keyboard player for British pop band D:Ream in the early 1990s before deciding to pursue a career in science. In 2005, Brian Cox was appointed professor of particle physics at Manchester University, a position that he still holds today. Up to now he has written multiple books and hosted a number of TV shows on how the natural world works.
