Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
- Buddha
At the age of 29, Siddhartha Gautama renounced his privileged life and set out on a spiritual quest to find the solution to human suffering. After years of meditation and contemplation, he attained enlightenment under a Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, at the age of 35. This marked the beginning of his role as Buddha, meaning “awakened one” or “enlightened one.”
